The innovative SkyAir system is designed to quietly blend into the ambiance of shops, restaurants, small offices or home environments. Daikin’s wall-mounted units are ideal for cooling or heating smaller zones such as stores, computer rooms and restaurants.

This system offers 18,000 BTUs cooling capacity and 20,000 BTUs heating. In accordance with the new federal ratings guidelines for ratings, the SkyAir FAQ Series mini split systems now have EER2, SEER2 and HSPF2 ratings. The 18,000 BTU FAQ wall system features 11.9 EER2, 16.9 SEER2 and 7.6 HSPF2 ratings.

The compact, stylish design lets the unit blend discreetly into any interior design, and airflow can be sent in any of five different directions and programmed via remote control.

A controller for 2-wire systems is required. Several controller options are available including the BRC1E73 wired wall thermostat and the BRC7E818 hand-held remote. Daikin One+ Smart Thermostat, AZAI6WSCDKA Wi-Fi adaptor, DKN Plus Interface (AZAI6WSPDKC), are also available separately.

This unit will cool when outdoor temperatures are as low as 23°F and will heat with outdoor temps as low as -4°F with 100% heating capacity. With an added Air Adjustment Grille (KPW5G112, sold separately), it will operate in cooling mode when temperatures are as low as 0°F.
