The iron oxide buildup in your heating system has met its match with the Adey MagnaClean DualXP filter. It has dual magnetic chambers, with four scale capture zones, giving you exceptional protection in larger closed-loop heating systems. This filter is an ideal solution for large residential and light commercial systems and it is recommended that it be installed on the return line, after the last radiator and before the boiler. The MagnaClean DualXP filter is engineered to trap circulating scale within your hydronic heating system. It is a full flow magnetic and non-magnetic filter designed to protect your heating system by removing virtually all suspended black iron oxide inside your heating pipes. Iron oxide build-up results in both financial and environmental inefficiencies in your equipment.

 

By installing a MagnaClean DualXP filter, you are taking the appropriate steps in protecting your heating system from the long-term damaging effects of black iron sludge and debris. Sludge and other debris that build up in hydronic heating systems can create expensive repairs and may cause your system to operate below par. The series of magnets are in resealable canisters, allowing for easy cleaning as well as a dosing point for adding MC3+ Cleaner and MC1+Protector into your system as well. For the contractor, you will find this filter is designed for installation in hydronic heating systems with 1-1/2" NPT pipework and includes telescopic connectors. The valves on this filter are designed to rotate a full 360° giving you multiple installation options. Additionally, the DualXP filter offers bi-directional flow so either port can be used as an inlet for increased flexibility. The canister is designed as a convenient dosing point for any water treatment the system may need, such as MC3+ Cleaner or MC1+ Protector.
