This item is required for wireless RF devices to communicate with the new Amana VTAC units. Using the DigiSmart Wireless Suite of products from Amana may reduce energy consumption up to 35%.
By way of an encrypted 2.4 GHz signal using the 802.15 Zigbee standard, the GenericTenna is able to communicate with any Amana VTAC.
Required for use with the DS01* Remote Thermostat and/or DD01* Occupancy Sensor. (Available as a kits from Total Home Supply - GT01HKIT1 or GT01HKIT2).
This antenna must be field installed.
