The Amana PBH092J12AA through the wall / TTW air conditioner is a quiet, efficient way to both cool and heat a space. Since it is installed in a wall, you will not lose any window access and it will not obstruct any view. It features 9,000 BTU cooling capacity with an electric heater** plus an 8,500 BTU reverse cycle heat pump. It features 9.8 EER and 9.7 CEER ratings. The Amana PBH092J12AA will quietly and quickly cool a space that is up to 300 sq. ft. The attached 8 ft. power cord with a 15 amp, 115V plug.

In accordance with EPA requirements for alternative refrigerants, the line of Amana Built-In Air Conditioners now include R32 refrigerant. R32 is up to 12% more efficient than R410A, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). The lower the GWP, the better for the environment. 

Standard features of the Amana Thru-the-Wall air conditioners include an electronic touch pad panel as well as a remote for easy temperature control. Additionally, the units include 3-way adjustable air flow options and 4 fan speeds. The easy to install, slide-out chassis also makes installation and maintenance extremely manageable. The permanent filter with polypropylene mesh is easy to remove and clean with slide-out access. To help lengthen the life of your compressor, the condenser top removes easily, giving you access to the outdoor coils and other sealed system components.

The Amana PBH092J12AA incorporates electric heat as well, with a heating capacity of 3,900 BTUs**. It also features 4 cooling fan speeds (L/M/H/Turbo) and 3 fan only speeds (L/M/H). The Amana built-in air conditioners are also wired thermostat capable, allowing for temperature control of your unit with a standard hardwired thermostat. These include both the non-programmable, PHWT-A150H, and programmable, PHWT-A200 thermostats.

In an effort to provide the consumer with the ultimate in reliability, Amana runs 100% full factory tests on every unit prior to leaving their facility. The consumer gets reliable, dependable and quiet operation each and every time it starts. Not to mention peace of mind, Amana includes a 1 year parts and labor warranty and a 5 year compressor warranty on all of their thru-the-wall units.

New installations require a wall sleeve and rear grille. Chassis dimensions are 15-5/8" high x 26" wide x 16-7/8" deep*. Amana through the wall units require a wall sleeve with solid sides, a bottom and a grille. The PBWS01G-C wall sleeve is an insulated wall sleeve with a stamped aluminum grille. Other grille options are available. Additionally, these units will also fit many competitors wall sleeves.
