Product Overview
A sub-base is installed under the sleeve of a PTAC unit. It is often used to stabilize the unit, giving it a support with leveling legs. With an electrical sub-base the plug-in receptacle and field-wiring access help to speed installation. All wiring is neatly hidden behind the base giving you a clean, installed appearance. The PTSB320QW includes a power receptacle for a quick installation of your 15 and 20 Amp, 208/230 Volt PTAC units.
Electrical accessories meet NEC requirements; can be installed in the unit sub-base. The subbase is prewired. Electrical connections can be made on the left side after the access cover is removed. A grounding screw is provided.
The sub-base may be installed onto wall sleeve either before or after sleeve installation. Minimum clearance between wall sleeve bottom and finished floor is 3¾"; maximum height clearance from bottom of wall sleeve and finished floor is 5". Minimum clearance between wall sleeve flange and finished wall is 2¾".
It is finished in Quiet White to match the J/K Series of Amana PTAC units.
