American Standard Water Heaters offer high quality water heaters for your commercial needs! With 100 gallon capacity, this commercial hot water heater is Energy Star Qualified and has a 96% Thermal Efficiency Rating. Each model in the High Efficiency, Ultra-Low NOx line is manufactured with a heavy gauge steel tank and lined with Duraglas for optimum protection against corrosion. They are further insulated with 2" thick, environmentally friendly insulation foam. Dual magnesium anode rods also help to prolong the life of the tank.
The Ultra-Low NOx burner exceeds the requirements for Southern California and Bay Area Cities by attaining both SCAQMD and BAAQMD certifications. The line also has a submerged combustion chamber to minimize radiant heat loss, improving its efficiency. This commercial hot water heater can be installed in tandem with up to 3 additional hot water heaters (4 total). Please refer to the installation manual for vent layout specifications.
The American Standard HE-100-199 offers 100 gallon nominal capacity and up to 199,000 BTUs input with 96% Thermal Efficiency. Regarding its flexible installation options, the HE-100-199 can be installed optional horizontal or vertical venting and is certified for direct vent sealed combustion installations. Standard horizontal and vertical piping and terminations can be installed with single or dual pipe terminations while concentric piping can be used for direct vent through-the-wall or through-the-roof terminations only. Flexible venting information is provided for 2", 3" or 4" venting with PVC, CPVC or ABS vent pipe.

Standard features also include a full size hand-hole cleanout for easy tank inspection and removal of sediment deposits, as well as a full flow brass drain valve for easy and quick drainage. The temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve is factory installed. All tanks are pressure tested and certified at 300 PSI test pressure and 150 PSI working pressure. An electronic ignition system and thermostat allow for water temperature settings from 100° - 180°F. The thermostat display panel indicates operating mode, settings and any failure modes your water heater may experience for ease of service.
