Product Overview
Is it time to replace your hot water heater? A tell-tale sign is water leaking from the tank! Short of that, if your water is dirty or rusty looking, has a metallic taste or smell or you are just experiencing less and less hot water, it may be time. Rusty or dirty looking water could be a sign that there is corrosion inside the tank. Of course, these are signs of a potential issue, but if your hot water heater is older than 10 - 15 years, it may also be time to think about it.
American Water Heaters ProLine Tall stands just over 5 ft. tall, and features top connections, requiring additional height for water connections. The junction box is also located on the top of the unit. The T&P Valve is on the side of the unit, 53-1/4" from the floor. There may be an optional T&P outlet on the top of the unit. The unit also includes two access panels on the front of the unit. These access panels allow access to the upper and lower elements and thermostats. The unit is approved for mobile/manufactured home installation and is CSA certified and includes an ASME Rated T&P Relief Valve.
The E6N-40H hot water heater has a First Hour Rating or First Hour Delivery of 53 gallons.
