Product Overview
Is it time to replace your hot water heater? A tell-tale sign is water leaking from the tank! Short of that, if your water is dirty or rusty looking, has a metallic taste or smell or you are just experiencing less and less hot water, it may be time. Rusty or dirty looking water could be a sign that there is corrosion inside the tank. Of course, these are signs of a potential issue, but if your hot water heater is older than 10 - 15 years, it may also be time to think about it.
American Water Heaters include a Green Choice gas burner. It is a patented eco-friendly burner design which reduces NOx emissions. The Green Choice Burner complies with Low-NOx requirements (40ng/J). Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) are poisonous, highly reactive gases that form when fuel is burned at high temperatures. NOx is greenhouse gas and causes damage to the ozone layer.
The G62-75T75 ProLine is a high capacity, commercial-grade, residential 75 gallon hot water heater. The tank stands 61" tall with the draft hood (58-1/2" to the top of the heater). This hot water heater has a first hour rating of 125 gallons. Assuming you are starting with a fully heated tank, it can deliver 125 gallons of hot water in an hour. A 75 gallon water heater is sufficiently sized for a household of 4 - 5 people with regular demand.
Standard features of the American Water Heater Proline Series include:
