Once the heat is turned on, the relative humidity in your home goes way down. Dry air in the home not only makes you uncomfortable with itchy skin, nose bleeds, and static electricity, but low humidity in the home can also make you susceptible to colds and upper respiratory infections. Using a whole house humidifier is one way to raise the humidity.
The 600 model comes with a wall mounted Automatic Digital Control which displays the relative humidity levels, operation status, and any service needs. This bypass unit uses the furnace blower to move air through a water panel. Adds up to 17 gallons of moisture per day into the air. It can be installed on the supply or return plenum of your furnace.
