The Aprilaire 720M whole house humidifier comes with a wall mounted Manual Control so you can set the relative humidity in your home as needed. Ideally, year round relative humidity (RH) in your home should be between 40% and 60%. This may be a hard level to achieve during the cold, drier months, without condensation build-up. The AprilAire 720M can help to maintain 45% RH with a recommended range of 35% to 45%.
The 720M has a built-in fan that pulls heated air directly from the furnace. The 720 series humidifiers can add up to 21 gallons of moisture per day into the air in your home. This is the highest capacity in the industry. Balanced humidity has been shown to reduce respiratory infections as well as allergy and asthma symptoms. When your home is properly balanced, it provides virus protection as well as reducing the airborne health concerns such as bacteria, viruses and dust mites. By adding moisture, you help to balance the humidity levels in your home.
The recirculation valve on the 720M humidifier helps to deliver 3x more water across the panel than the previous 700M model humidifier, reducing wastewater by 60%. This helps to put more moisture in the air rather than down the drain. The unit installs with any furnace flow including horizontal. And it can be installed with the fan on the left or right side!
The 720M Manual Control Humidifier offers whole house humidification for homes up to 6,250 sq. ft.
