The Daikin MXS Series outdoor compressors offer a heating operation range from 5°F to 60°F and a cooling range from 14°F to 115°F. The MXS Multi-Zone Series includes an enhanced drain pan that provides excellent drainage to reduce ice build-up in extreme conditions. It is also compatible with the Daikin Cloud WiFi Adapter (not compatible with FDMQ or Vista indoor units) for complete comfort control from anywhere using your tablet or smartphone!

Depending on your indoor unit selections, the 4MXS36WMVJU9 outdoor unit can achieve energy efficiency levels of up to 20.6 SEER, 11.8 EER, and 9.7 HSPF in non-ducted installations. With Daikin's quad-Zone solution, you can individually control any four rooms. The 4MXS36WMVJU9 quad-Zone is rated for 36,000 BTU Cooling Capacity and requires a minimum of two indoor units. Additional units (up to four) can be added later, allowing for a total connected BTU rating of up to 48,000 BTUs. This higher connectivity capacity provides flexibility in selecting indoor units to meet different load requirements in various spaces, such as living and sleeping areas.
The 4MXS36WMVJU9 outdoor inverter "variable speed" compressor features a space-saving design and quiet operation. Once you set your temperature, the system automatically adjusts its output based on current conditions. With the Quick Warming Function, the compressor preheats to reduce the time required for warm air discharge. It utilizes R410A refrigerant, the industry standard, and includes anti-corrosion treatment of the outdoor Heat Exchanger Fin for enhanced durability.

It can be installed on an interior or exterior wall and is connected to the outdoor compressor through a small wall opening. Features include a titanium apatite photocatalytic air purification filter that absorbs microscopic particles, intelligent eye function to reduce operation in unoccupied rooms, and a wireless remote for convenient operation from anywhere in the room. Available in BTU options ranging from 7,000 up to 24,000 BTUs for the quad-zone system.
Emura Indoor Wall Units (White or Silver) - The Emura series offers a modern, unique shape that adds a stylish flair to any decor while maintaining quiet operation. Installed high on a wall, it connects to the outdoor compressor through a small wall opening. Features include whisper-quiet sound levels, compatibility with the Daikin Comfort Control App, and wireless remote operation. Available for the dual-zone system in 9,000, 12,000, and 18,000 BTUs.
Vista Ceiling Cassette Units - The Vista Ceiling Cassette adds aesthetic value to the Daikin lineup. It includes a 2' x 2' Decorative Cover (BYFQ60C2WIW) and can be installed in a regular or drop ceiling, occupying only a single ceiling tile in the latter. Offers flexible airflow options with two, three, or four-way distribution. Connects to the outdoor compressor through a small wall opening. Features include compatibility with high MERV filters and wireless remote operation. Available in 9,000, 12,000, 15,000, and 18,000 BTUs.
Concealed Ducted Units - These units are installed within ceilings and hidden from view, requiring ductwork and registers for air distribution. The FDMQ Series supports higher external static pressure (up to 0.6), allowing for longer duct runs and the implementation of high MERV filters. These units occupy approximately 10" of vertical space in the ceiling and include a wireless remote for convenient operation. Available in 15,000 to 24,000 BTUs.
Floor Standing Units - Ideal for built-in solutions providing heat at floor level, these units install flush or recessed on the wall, perfect for spaces with limited upper wall space. Dimensions are approximately 27.5"W x 23.6"H x 8.25"D. Available in 9,000, 12,000, 15,000, and 18,000 BTUs.
Line Sets
Mini Split Line Sets - Line sets are essential for connecting the outdoor unit to the indoor units of your mini split system. Each indoor unit requires its own line set. Our line sets come with flared connectors attached and are ready for installation. Available with or without control wire and in various connection sizes and lengths to meet your specific installation needs. The line set shown includes a control wire.
