The new Daikin Entra Series boasts R-32 low-GWP refrigerant. R32 is up to 12% more efficient than R410A, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). The lower the GWP, the better for the environment. The Entra Series provides energy efficient, comfort control for a single zone. This unit is a cooling system with a heat pump. Each single zone system comes complete with an indoor and outdoor unit as well as a remote. The updated design of the wall-mounted FTXC18AXVJU pairs with a quiet, compact outdoor unit (RXC18AXVJU). This unit offers 18,100 BTUs cooling capacity and 18,000 BTUs heating. It boasts an EER2 of 10.5, SEER2 rating of 18.0, and an HSPF2 of 9.0.
The Entra Series will cool when outdoor temperatures range from 50°F up to 115°F and will heat when outdoor temperatures are between 5°F and 65°F. It is a great option for year-round comfort in several regions of the country.
