In colder climates, ice may form at the base and in the drain pan of your outdoor condenser unit. To help alleviate this potentially damaging problem, a drain pan heater should be added to your system. It connects directly to the control board and eliminates ice formation in the drain pan.
The KEH063A4EA is for use with Daikin Single Zone Outdoor Units:

- Oterra 18,000; 24,000 BTU compressors
- Atmosphera 18,000; 24,000 BTU compressors
The KEH063A4EA can also be used with outdoor Daikin Multi-Zone heat pump units including:
