Whether you live in a house or a high rise, there is almost always room for a little ambiance. This IgniteXL 50" linear fireplace will certainly make a statement in your living room. An electric fireplace does not require a chimney or a gas line. All that is required is the wall space and a direct wire/hard wire installation. The IgniteXL 50 is only 5.5" deep. A full function remote is included with this beautiful fireplace. It can be installed in a 120V hardwire installation with a single pole/single throw On/Off wall switch. It can also be installed in a 240V installation.
The IgniteXL will supply supplemental heat for up to 1,000 sq. ft. using its Comfort$aver to quietly and efficiently warm your space. The patented Comfort$aver ceramic heating system uses 11% less energy than the leading quartz infrared heater by automatically adjusting fan speed and heater wattage to safely and precisely match the requirements of the room.
And there is no need to worry about touching the glass. The glass stays cool to the touch making it safe even for areas with kids! Its unique color themes are sure to enhance any room, customizing your look at any given time. The IgniteXL 50" built-in firebox is installed right into a 2" x 6" wall installation. It measures 50.25"w x 5.875"d x 15.625"h. With Dimplex's Edge-to-Edge glass you get a clean face, full view of the entire fireplace. Inside the flames will dance between the diamond-like acrylic ice ember bed as they sparkle and reflect the light of the flames. The Multi-Fire XD flames are so realistic you will think the flames are the real thing as they dance across the full 50 inch fireplace. The integrated LED display is easily read yet tucked away so it will not distract from the view! Plus they are backlit and hidden when not in use. The full function remote will come in handy when you just don't want to get up!

If the acrylic ice media bed is not exactly to your liking, you can add the Driftwood and Rock Accessory Kit to this beautiful fireplace. It is packaged for the full 50 inch width of the XLF50 and will add a more organic, traditional feel to your beautiful fireplace (shown in photos above). A trim kit is also available to allow for 2" x 4" wall installation.
