The Dimplex Ignite XL Bold Series Built-In Linear Electric Firebox offers a beautiful front facing three-sided look with a deep front view. The installation versatility for this linear fireplace include adding the included glass or solid side panels. Depending on your installation needs, you can truly make it work in any design. Built-in installations include front facing, right corner, left corner and bay. You can even connect multiple XL Bold fireplaces together for your own custom look - a modular linking bracket (XLFXDLINK, sold separately, special order) is required.
The glass front on this fireplace gives you a full 16-1/4" high and 48-7/8" wide viewing area! Dimplex is known for its realistic fire look and this fireplace does not disappoint. This fireplace has an Ambient Light Sensor that automatically adjusts the lights in the firebox to give you the best flame effect regardless of the time of day! The included media offers 2 bags of small acrylic crystals plus 5 large and 3 extra-large crystals as well as a 6 piece driftwood log set. Once you have spread the small crystals across the bottom of your fireplace you can choose how to display the larger crystals and driftwood pieces. It is possible to use custom electric fireplace media to decorate you fireplace BUT it must fit easily, not be too heavy as to bow the media bed AND CANNOT be composed of sand or liquid.
Controls for Dimplex are found on the top right corner of the glass and can also be accessed with the included remote. The on-screen touch panel disappears when not in use. Both on-screen and remote functions include ON/OFF, Flame Effect, Heat ON/OFF, Temperature, Flame Speeds, Mood Lighting, Flame Themes and much more! Mood lighting offers 8 mood/color modes which combine overhead and media bed lighting and Flame Theme offers 7 different orange and blue flame options. Additionally, the XL Bold Series is Bluetooth compatible with the Dimplex Flame Connect App.
The XL Bold Series can be used with a dedicated 15 Amp circuit and either 120V or 240V electricity. The unit is hardwired and when used with 120V electricity can be operated with a wall switch. An optional plug is available (XLFXDPLUG, sold separately, special order).
