When you need comfort control in two adjacent rooms but have only one Friedrich PTAC unit, an extension duct, in conjunction with the PDXDAA Duct Adapter, will help transfer air from one room to another. It also allows different airflows for the rooms. This duct extension is a 4ft long extension that matches the Friedrich PTAC units. In total, 3 extensions can be used. The longer the run, the more reduced the airflow. The adapter kit (PDXDAA) is required to use with your PTAC unit in order to get conditioned air into the secondary space you are trying to cool or heat.
