The Friedrich VRPXEMRT2 is a non-programmable wired electronic thermostat designed for use with Friedrich FreshAire PTAC units. Ideal for hotels, motels, schools, and offices with inconsistent occupancy, this thermostat delivers energy savings without sacrificing comfort.
Key features of the VRPXEMRT2 include an integrated occupancy sensor that detects motion and utilizes thermal sensing technologies to save energy when a room is unoccupied. Additional benefits include energy-saving presets, customizable energy settings, and compatibility with 2 heat and 1 cool stage units. Note: Each unit requires its own thermostat.
Enhanced User Experience
The VRPXEMRT2 boasts a large backlit screen and user-friendly soft-touch buttons for simple operation. Temperature settings can be adjusted in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Control options include temperature adjustment, fan settings, and power. The built-in RH control optimizes the performance of VRP and FreshAire PTAC units. For online energy management, pair this thermostat with the EMOCT connection kit.
