The Friedrich VRPXEMWRT2 is an Energy Management non-programmable wireless electronic thermostat. It is designed for specifically for use with Friedrich FreshAire PTAC units. The thermostat can be used in hotels and motels, schools and offices where occupancy in the spaces is inconsistent. The VRPXEMWRT2 will deliver energy savings without compromising comfort. The VRPXEMWRT2 has an integrated occupancy sensor which detects motion and uses thermal sensing technologies to detect room occupancy, which saves you money when the room is unoccupied. It also includes many other features such as energy saving presets as well as fully configurable energy saving settings for customization and will work with 2 heat and 1 cool stage units. Each unit requires its own thermostat.
 
The VRPXEMWRT2 also features a large backlit screen with easy to use soft touch push buttons. Temperature can be set in F or C. Control buttons include temperature up/down, fan and power. The VRPXEMRT2 has built-in RH control to maximize the capabilities of your VRP and FreshAire PTAC units. Use with EMOCT online connection kit for Energy Management.
 
Can be used with the following heating/cooling applications:
  • Single Stage Heat - Cool PTAC Units
  • Singe Stage Heat Pump PTAC Units with or without Electric Heat
It can also be used with Friedrich VRP Vertical Units.
 
The dimensions of the thermostat are 4.02"h x 5.5"w x .93"d.
