The Frigidaire unique "U" shaped GHWQ125WD1 window air conditioner features an inverter compressor and built-in WiFi. The inverter lets the compressor to operate at the capacity needed at any given time. The built-in air quality sensor continuously monitors the room's temperature and adjusts itself accordingly. No more total unit shut off, just a lower speed circulating your cool air. As a homeowner, you will appreciate the efficiency provided by a variable compressor versus a traditional compressor that completely shuts down and restarts when needed. With inverter technology, the fan slows down as your room reaches the set point and keeps it at that level. If more cooling power is needed, the fan will increase and produce cool air to bring your room back to temp. Inverter technology also allows for a wider range of operational capacities. The GHWQ125WD1 is perfect for living rooms and other medium sized spaces that are about 450 - 550 sq. ft.
The GHWQ125WD1 is extremely efficient. It uses 115 Volt electricity and includes built-in WiFi, for control of your air conditioner anywhere (with the Frigidaire App, right from your smart phone. It is also compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Home. Its innovative U-shaped design allows your double hung window to fit between the indoor side and the outdoor side of the unit. This design gives you easy access to your window for fresh air anytime as well as giving you more window view. Its 3 step installation will have you up and running in no time. Of course it includes the necessary installation hardware and it is lightweight - about 58 lbs.
The GHWQ125WD1 unit features 12,000 BTUs, and a CEER rating of 15.0. It uses the newer, efficient R-32 refrigerant. R32 is up to 12% more efficient than R410A, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). The lower the GWP, the better for the environment.
The GHWQ125WD1 features 3 cooling speeds, 3 fan-only settings and auto fan, auto restart, Energy Saver. Other features include:
