The GE ADHR22LB 22 Pint Portable Dehumidifier is Energy Star. This is the ideal dehumidifier for areas that have high humidity like basements and garages. The SmartDry feature automatically adjusts the fan speed based on the humidity level in the space.
The GE humidifier features and easy to use digital display panel with a 24 hour ON/OFF timer, delay start and auto restart. Other features include a 10 second bucket full alarm and filter reminder. The bucket capacity on this unit is 8.5 pints while the unit will handle removing 22 pints in a 24 hour period. The unit will shut off when the bucket is full. The bucket is removed easily from the front of the machine. Once the bucket is emptied and returned to its proper position, the unit will restart, assuming additional dehumidification is needed. It includes an external drain hose connector for continuous draining of the accumulated water. This unit DOES NOT have a pump. It is completely portable, featuring easy roll caster wheels, pocket handles and an easy to remove front condensate bucket with easy-lift handle.
The Clean Filter indicator light will illuminate when it is time to clean your filter - after about 250 hours of operation. Simply remove the filter and clean it!
The easy to use, electronic push pad control panel allows you to set your humidity level for optimum relative humidity from 35% to 80% in 5% increments (40% is recommended). It also has Auto Defrost, shutting the compressor down while still allowing the fan to run until the frost is gone. It is perfect for use in cooler areas and will operate down to 41°F. Below 41°F, the coils can become covered with frost, which can effect performance. Placing the dehumidifier in an area that is typically colder than 41° is not recommended.
The ADHR22LB also offers three fan speeds, giving you a choice of fan settings - High, Medium, Low and Smart Dry for more personalized comfort. It is available in White.
