The AKEQ14DCJ offers 14,000 BTUs plus electric heat of 10,600 BTUs. It features a 24-hour on/off delay timer, for utmost efficiency in proper indoor cooling. This unit features an energy saver feature, which will temporarily shut the air conditioner off when the room reaches a certain temperature, as to not over-cool the room or over-exert the unit.

Built-in, through-the-wall air conditioners are ideal for windowless spaces, or for those who are looking for an indoor cooling that would still allow the option of opening and closing windows at will. It offers a true built in look with only a minimal 5" extension into the room with front. Competitor units require a 7.5 minimum extension into the room with front. The GE AKEQ14DCJ 24" through the wall air conditioner features 14,000 BTU Cooling Capacity with Electric heat and 208/230 Volt electricity. The unit is finished in a clean white color.

A full function remote is included with this unit. The AKEQ series features 3 fan speeds and 6-way directional air-flow. The electronic controls and auto dimming display offers a smooth touch control panel with large LCD display with centered controls.

The new GE AKEQ14DCJ is a Standard Mount Heat and Cool (electric heat strip) unit. Standard mount units include a control panel that is set in the upper half of the front of the unit, allowing for easy access when the unit is mounted at or below eye level. The AKEQ units are standard mount units. The AKEQ14DCJ is an 14,000 BTU unit for use with 230 volt electricity.
