The GE Zoneline Vertical Packaged Terminal Heat Pump has excellent COP (Coefficient of Performance) ratings. This is the measurement of the efficiency of the heat pump output compared to electric resistance heat. In addition to comparing heat pump output versus electric heat, this number also allows a direct comparison to other heat pumps with the same range capacity. The AZ9VH12DAC features a COP of 3.4. The AZ9VH12DAC Ultimate V11 Series also meets new AHRI Standards and are rated with the new EER2, SEER2 and HSPF2 ratings. The AZ9VH12DAC feature 11.6 EER2, 15.5 SEER2 and 6.5 HSPF2 ratings. This unit also offers optional WiFi compatibility with the GE's Smart HQ WiFi
Similar to central heating systems, the GE Zoneline Vertical Heat Pump incorporates the use of a reverse cycle defrost system. This allows the heat pump to operate at lower outdoor temperatures without frost accumulation on the outdoor coil. The new AZ9VH Ultimate V11 Series Heat Pump will operate to 0°F. This helps provide owners with a cost efficient method of heating. Additionally, the outdoor coils include a corrosion treatment for added protection from the elements. New features for the AZ9VH12DAC Ultimate V11 Series includes an inverter driven, variable speed compressor. AND it offers ultra-low heat pump operation down to 0°F!
A GE Vertical Air Conditioner (VTAC or Vertical PTAC) helps you optimize floor space because the unit is concealed in a closet with an outside wall rather than out in the open. With hidden installation, the room becomes more aesthetically appealing, giving it more of an at-home appearance, with no limitations on furniture placement or window treatment installation.
Although the VTAC is still a through-the-wall installation, its footprint is approximately 24" x 32" and it is hidden inside an enclosure which looks like a closet, versus a standard PTAC unit which is installed in the room taking up over 42" of floor space. The VTAC uses a wall mounted thermostat and has a top air discharge that can be ducted into one or more rooms - perfect for suite set-ups. The design of the new AZ9VH Ultimate V11 models includes a one-piece design, which fully integrates with the wall plenum and aligns for a tight seal. This design eliminates the need for building a customized platform on the construction site. Additionally it uses a Quick-Install Plenum that easily installs from inside the building without the need for exterior building access (caulking required).

This GE AZ9VH12DAC Ultimate V11 Series Heat Pump Zoneline Vertical Air Conditioner or VTAC replaces several earlier 9,000, 12,000 and 18,000 BTU models of VTAC. It features a heat pump and offers a nominal cooling capacity of 11,700 BTUs with a cooling range capacity of 5,200 - 16,200 BTUs. It also offers a nominal heating capacity of 10,800 BTUs with a heat pump capacity range of 4,500 - 13,000 BTUs. It features an inverter true variable speed compressor for added energy savings. At Total Home Supply, we also give you your choice of power supply. The power amperage you choose is directly related to the amount of electric heat you get. Universal power supply kits are available in 15 Amp; 2.45 kW electric heat, 20 Amp; 3.45 kW electric heat and 30 Amp; 5.0 kW electric heat options. The AZ9VH Ultimate V11 Series is also equipped with 3 fan speeds. Featured on this unit is the Quick Heat Recovery System. The heat pump incorporates a two stage heat/one stage cooling thermostat that utilizes the resistance heat to bring the room temperature to within 2 degrees of the thermostat set point before initiating the heat pump operation. This helps bring the room up to temperature quickly and allowing for warmer air to be discharged when the heat pump kicks in.

*When replacing a previous model GE Vertical Units with the new AZ9VH Series vertical air conditioner, one of three transition plenums (RAVTRANS2, RAVTRANS3, RAVTRANS4) must be used.
This unit replaces GE models AZ95H09DAC, AZ95H12DAC and AZ95H18DAC.
