GE RAK160W2 Wireless Thermostat for PTACs, VTACs and AJ Heat and Cool Models

This GE wall-mounted, wireless thermostat is an excellent way to control your GE or Hotpoint PTAC, GE Ultimate10 AZ95 VTACs or GE AJ Series Through-the-Wall Heat and Cool Air Conditioners. It offers wireless installation with a wired power option. Plug and Play with all AZ45/65/95 models as well as the AJE* and AJH* Heat and Cool air conditioners. When used with a Hotpoint PTAC standard wiring is required. It is 24VAC wireless (or hardwired). This thermostat can be used with heat strip units as well as heat pump units. It does require 2 AA batteries. It features 2 fan speeds and has a digital LCD backlit display.

 

This thermostat is operated with push buttons. It is easy to set the time and temperature. The temperature can be viewed in °F or °C with the push of a button. It allows you to set the minimum and maximum set points that your guest can select. Minimum set point is between 64°F - 84°F while the maximum set point is between 60°F and 82°F. This thermostat also offers Auto Changeover as well as network capabilities to control more than a single room.
