GE RAK180W1 Energy Management Occupancy Sensing Thermostat - Wireless or Wired Installation

In addition to basic thermostat control of your GE PTAC unit, this wall-mounted, wireless thermostat offers wireless or wired installation. With wireless installation, 2 AA batteries are required. The thermostat offers all the controls you would expect from a thermostat but gives you the option of hooking it up to a network of units or individual room application. It can be used with all models of the GE Zoneline PTAC units regardless of whether they offer electric heat only or are heat pump units. This thermostat works with both 1 stage cool, 1 stage heat (resistance heat) or 1 stage cool, 2 stage heat (heat pump/resistance heat) units.

 

The Energy Management System offers Intelligent Occupancy Analysis. It uses a built-in occupancy sensor that can differentiate between incidental, like housekeeping or other maintenance, and guest occupancy. This offers a great option toward using less energy. It also offers a Night Occupancy Mode which disables the energy management system while guests sleep to allow for complete guest comfort.
