The 2-Way Energy Management System can be configured for 1-way or 2-way communication. 1-way configuration is for use with AZ45, AZ65 Series PTAC units as well as AZ95 and AZ9V VTACs and AJE through the wall units. 2-way configurations is for use with AZ9V inverter models only. When set up via 5 wire 2-way communication with connected unit, the thermostat will work with SmartHQ for WiFi communication (requires SmartHQ Connect module, sold separately). This is a wired, non-programmable thermostat with touch pad operation.
The RAK190V has a large LED display that is bright and easy to read, but has an auto dimming feature for night time. With its simple shite frame and LED display, the thermostat will blend into any room decor. It is 5-1/2"w x 3-7/8"h.
Features of the 1-WAY COMMUNICATION CONFIGURATION include the ability to work with 6, 7 and 8 wire set-ups. Additionally, it has occupancy sensing settings as well as energy savings offsets, 2 configurable Aux 24VAC outputs to control Make-Up air, lighting and aux fans, etc.

- MakeUp Air occupancy control (when paired with MUA 2-way capable models)

- Set mode/temp on the thermostat, unit or via SmartHQ online tools (requires SmartHQ Connect module, sold separately)
- Compatible with SmartHQ management (For site-wide fleet management: WiFi-enabled unit control, setting adjustments, & room status updates) (requires SmartHQ Connect module and subscription service, sold separately)
This thermostat can be used as with Single Stage cooling with single stage electric heat, Dual Stage heat with Heat Pump or Dual Stage cooling with dual stage heat pump and back up electric heat.
