With weather changing fast, there is no better time than now to protect your generator with a GenTent Running Cover. Not only can you store your generator outdoors under this canopy, you can run your portable generator with confidence! The GenTent Canopy allows you to safely run your generator in any weather - outside - where it belongs. The GenTent Direct Connect Running Cover includes protective sides that allow access to the electrical panels as well as the ability to re-fuel as necessary.
The GenTent GTOPFDC Direct Connect Portable Generator Running Cover is for use with open frame portable generators ranging in size from 3,000 kWs up to 13,000 kWs with a general perimeter ranging from approximately 40" - 104". The GTOPFDC Standard Series offers a low cold crack temperature rating of between -15°F - 158°F (-25°C - 70°C).
GenTent is the only ENGINEERED product on the market that keeps generators safe to use in rain and severe weather, while protecting your family and investments from harm. GenTent is independently lab tested and rated for:
- Up to 70 MPH Forecast Winds
- Hurricane Force Precipitation (12" per hr)
- 18" Snow Load (55 lbs.)
- Flame Retardant (NFPA 701) rating on canopy and component pieces.
- Waterproof dual coated vinyl - made from rip-stop material - with welded seams.
The GenTent Direct Connect model is for use with open frame generators and connects directly to your generator's vertical frame posts, no tools necessary!
GenTent Direct Connect Canopy's are available in your choice of color. Available is this item - the Standard Edition (sourced from China) which includes a 1 year warranty, the Extreme Edition (made in USA) which includes a 3 year warranty. All are available in Tan with Black Trim or Grey with Black Trim. All editions include all the hardware required.
The Standard Edition canopy is constructed of NFPA 701 Flame Retardant, waterproof coated rip-stop vinyl coated polyester and is rated from -15°F - 158°F (-25°C - 70°C), outdoor rated elastic straps and hook and loop (Velcro). The canopy is covered by a 1 year limited warranty.
