King KCV1204-W 34" 420 Watt Electric Cove Heater - 120 Volt

The King KCV-Series Cove heaters are a great solution for safe heating in almost any installation. They are installed at least 6 feet from the floor/closer to the ceiling*, making them safe for installation in schools and day care centers. Of course, they can be installed almost anywhere! They are easy to install and sleek and attractive to look at. The cove heaters are surface mounted with screws and hardwired into you space. They offer a smooth look with an extruded aluminum front panel in a bright white finish that will go with any decor. These heaters can be added to any room where heating may be an issue. Additionally, if your have done a renovation and cannot hook up the room to your home heating system, a KCV cove electric heater is a great solution for providing heat from above without creating furniture placement issues.

The KCV1204-W is 34" long but packs 420 watts of electric heat into its small size. It uses standard 120V electricity. This heater is a good size for a hallway or a small room. The Cove Heaters use a combination of radiant and convection to give you a long lasting warmth throughout your room. Radiant heat is quickly emitted when the unit is turned on. This immediately starts to warm the room like the sun, heating the objects in the room as well as the air. Additionally, the cold air is drawn in from the bottom of the unit and through natural convection, warm air is then discharged from the top of the heater, helping to maintain the warmth in the space. There are no moving parts on this heater, so no dust and allergens are blown around the room. This is a great, quiet and virtually maintenance-free heater!

Since the heat is emitted from above - down to where you sitting, temperature fluctuations are minimized. Now you can have a quiet, safe alternative to wires and unsightly, and often times unsafe, space heaters or portable heaters in the middle of your room. The cove heater can be wired on either the right or left side. The junction box (at both ends) features a top and rear 1/2" knockout on either side for easy wiring.
