The King Electric multi-watt steel-fin heater is an ideal choice for adding an inconspicuous wall mounted electric heater into any room in your home. Once recess-mounted into your room, it looks like a typical vent you might see in a forced air heat system. It is quiet enough for bedroom and offers several wattage options so you can decide how much heat you need in any space. The PAW series features a built-in squirrel cage blower with steel fins for years of trouble-free heat. With a squirrel cage configuration, the cool air is drawn in from the bottom and expelled from the top of the element - all within the wall can!
The PAW series is factory-wired to 1500 watts (specifications reflect this setting) but features King Electric's exclusive Pic-A-Watt element. With this feature, the heater can be easily tailored to meet your specific room's needs. Smaller rooms, such as a bathroom, may not require 1500 watts of heat but a larger room, like a bedroom, probably does. Before installing your heater, simply decide on the wattage you want for your room and configure the wire(s) for that desired wattage. By simply moving the quick connect wires from one terminal to another, the wattage can be adjusted. The PAW2422 can be set for 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1250 or 1500 Watts.
It also has a durable, powder-coated white finished grille (also available with a stainless steel grille). The grille features rounded corners for a pleasing look in any decor. The PAW also features King's Patented Smart Limit Protection (SLP). If anything is blocking the heater within 6 inches of the grille, the SLP senses it and will shut down the heater. Clearance in front of this heater is 36 inches.
The front of the grille also has a small knock-out area to add knob thermostat (TKIT-1BW) that fits right into the front for easy access to control. TKIT-1BW is a single pole thermostat. It is field installed and comes in white to match the grill on the heater. Conversely, a wall thermostat can be installed to operate this heater. Each heater does require its own thermostat to operate.
The PAW1215 is available in White (PAW1215-W) or Stainless Steel (PAW1215-SS). It uses standard 120 volt electricity and features the Pic-A-Watt steel-fin heating element for all of your room small or large! This heater is also available in 208V (PAW2022-W) in white and 208/240V (PAW2422-W) in white.
