KwiKool’s Iceberg Series line of portable coolers is an ideal solution for server and IDF rooms. It offers a separated air system which helps to recirculate cooled air while expelling hot air. The Iceberg line is a full service line to meet all of your cooling needs. The line includes three (3) 115 volt, six (6) 230 volt and two (2) 460 volt options. Three 115v units are available and include 1.1 ton (13,800 BTUs), 1.5 ton (17,700 BTUs) and 2 ton (23,500 BTUs) units. The 230v units range from 2 - 10 tons (23,500 - 120,000 BTUs), and the 460 volt units include 60,000 and 120,000 BTU units. 

The Iceberg KIB12023 features 120,000 BTUs (10 ton), uses 230 volt / 3 phase electricity and is 32.325"w x 63"d x 68.25"h. For this unit, the recommended circuit breaker size is 80 amps. Although this unit is not "small", it is the only portable air conditioner of its size and capacity plus it is dual stage cooling system. It is powerful enough to cool effectively as either primary or secondary/backup air conditioning. All Iceberg KIB units include hi-tech microprocessor controls and self-diagnostics in addition to its standard features. The condenser on the KIB12023 utilizes THD, KwiKool’s exclusive Twin Hyperdrive Technology with Ultra Low Ambient Temperature Capability using a Variable Frequency Drive. Twin Hyper Drive Technology produces a high volume of air without belts and eliminates all of the maintenance associated with belts.

Some of the standard features include three fan speeds, a 5-gallon condensate tank with overflow float switch for manual emptying as well as an internal high lift condensate pump for direct drain option (if connecting to drain, do not use/connect tank), auto-speed which automatically sets the fan speed based on the heat load demand, filter dryer for moisture protection and an easy Access service door. The Iceberg Series also includes dual top ducting and Kwikool's Exclusive I/O Integral Condenser. The dual ducting system allows for a separate exhaust outlet and cooling source inlet. With the unique dual system, the cold air created is then pushed out into the room and recirculated within the room, not removed.

The air duct chute (KDC-120) is optional and available separately. It attaches to the front of your Iceberg unit and is used to direct airflow where you want it to go. An optional two duct ceiling kit (CK-120) is available and recommended for optimum performance. Attaching the ceiling kit to your KIB12023 allows for the discharge to be moved out of the space you are cooling. The dual duct is connected to the ceiling panel. Typically it would be used in a drop ceiling configuration. The discharge is then dispersed into the space you are not trying to cool. Additionally, the ceiling duct kit is not limited to ceiling use. It can be placed or fastened to any vertical or horizontal surface and directed out of the space you are cooling. Caution must be taken to ensure that the space you are discharging into can handle the load without pressurizing and coming back into your cooling space.

The controls are easy to use and feature soft touch buttons with a digital display. It features a cooling mode and a fan only mode.
