The CKRUBY35 is a glass media conversion kit for your Ruby35 fireplace insert. It includes a bag of onyx and a bag of diamond glass media. Adding glass media to your fireplace takes the traditional feel out of your recently converted old fireplace and gives it a modern, contemporary look.
When using the Glass Conversion kit, the LINER-MOD35-BK, reflective black glass liner is required. A refractory liner is not compatible with the CKRUBY35 kit.
Once you have added the CKRUBY35, other options are available to further customize your fireplace. In addition to the included onyx (GLASS-OY) and diamond (GLASS-DM) glass, sapphire glass (GLASS-SP), bronze glass (GLASS-BZ), a stones kit (STONES-NATURAL) and driftwood log set (DWLG-MI-MAJ) are also available. The additional colored glass, stones and driftwood enhance the customization of your fireplace. Approximately 1-1/2 bags of glass are needed for your natural gas Ruby35 (a little less for propane). Please bear this in mind if you are adding different colored glass media to your Ruby35. If you are adding a stone kit, two bags are recommended. The glass media bed is required to install stones or driftwood.
