Majestic LINKSQB-DV30 is a direct vent gas insert kit. Direct vent gas inserts typically use co-linear (side by side) 3" diameter, flex liners that connect to the insert and run up through your chimney to the cap. A direct vent insert kit is required when installing your DV gas insert such as the Trilliant, Ruby and Jasper Series. The LINKSQB-DV30 liner kit includes 2 - 3" flex liners that extend to 30 ft., black square termination cap and flashing.
If your installation does allow for 2 - 30 ft lengths (recommended), the LINKSQC-DV30 (Square Copper termination cap), LINK-DV30B (round stainless steel termination cap) are also available.
Because of chimney age or cleanliness, your installation may not allow enough space for two 30 ft. lengths. In this case, Majestic offers two kits that each include one 30 ft. and one 4 ft. flex liner (LINKSQB-DV4-30 - square black termination cap or LINK-DV4-30B - round stainless steel termination cap). BUT, this type of installation may be more susceptible to cold air infiltration and the effects of negative pressure on the appliance's performance.
