Product Overview
The Majestic PH-MR is a Passive Heat Management Kit. The PH-MR includes a heat templates (4), heat adapter collars (2), rear covers (2), front cover and required screw. It includes the starting collars (heat adapter collars) required when also installing either the PH-SIDETRIM or the PH-FRTTRIM-42 to your Meridian 42" fireplace. The PH-MR is required to install any kind of passive heat to your system. Additionally, you can choose to zone (HEAT-ZONE-GAS) your fireplace sending heat from the installation room into an adjacent room or a room above your fireplace. With heat zone technology, you are able to re-direct up to half of the heat from the fireplace, while also reducing the wall temperatures above your fireplace.
Passive heat management opens a host of installation options. With a passive heat management kit installed, you can choose to disperse the heat created by your fireplace up and out into the room through side or front registers or even out of the top of your installation frame. An open chase installation does require at least 2" above your installation housing and the ceiling.
