Product Overview
The High Velocity 2 Series (HV2) of Mars Air Doors features 1 horsepower motors for efficient wind loads up to 14 ft. high and offers a variety of lengths to provide an environmental barrier at that height. It can also protect your space from insects up to 12 feet.
This unheated, 208-230/1/60 volt, air door is easy to install. It includes a single 1-HP motor and features durable metal construction and a corrosion resistant powder coated Titanium Silver finish. A variety of lengths from 36" to 144" is available. The HV260-1UD-TS is 60" long and features a single 1-horsepower motor. Some sample installation applications include shipping/receiving doors, customer entrances, cold storage rooms and many more. Ideal installation height is 10' - 12' for the HV2 series. Units 72" to 96" feature a 2- motor design. 108" - 144" units have 3 motors. The 120" unit is also available with a 2- motor design - please call Customer Service for pricing and lead time. All HV2 units ship as a single unit, regardless of length.

The chart below lays out all the optional lengths available for the unheated, 208/230V, single-phase HV2 air curtain. Simply choose your length based on your installation needs. A separate relay or relay with time delay is required to operate the HV2 air curtain.
Several door switches are available. The door switch automatically turns the unit on when the door opens and off when it closes. Plus, it will continue running for a configurable period of time. If choosing a door switch without a time delay, the options include a Steel surface mounted roller/plunger switch (99-014). An aluminum floor-mounted switch (99-124), and an aluminum surface-mounted switch (99-125) are also available and a control panel is required. Separate, externally mounted control panels include the MCPB-1UD for single motor units (42" - 60"); MCPB-2UD for 2-motor units (72" - 96") AND MCPB-3UD FOR 108" - 144" unit (3 motors).
