Product Overview
The LoPro 2 Low Profile Series of Mars Air Doors offer a variety of lengths in a low profile design. Create an unseen barrier in your space by adding an unheated air curtain across the doorway. It will provide insect protection for an opening of up to 7' high and temperature separation/protection up to 8', resulting in limited heat loss when the outside door is open and the unit is on. An additional door switch is also available that will automatically turn your air curtain on and off as the door opens and closes. Additionally, the switch features a time delay that will keep the unit on for a pre-determined, configurable amount of time.
The low profile design of this unheated, 208/230 volt, air door is only 8" tall and comes in a variety of lengths from 25" to 144". The LPV236-1UD-OB is a 36" air curtain. It includes a single, 1/6 HP motor. Some sample installation applications include walk-in coolers, pass-through windows, concession stands and many more.
The LPV2 air curtain offers a cost efficient barrier that will blend in to any environment. Its durable metal construction is finished in a corrosion resistant obsidian black to meet your design aesthetics. Units 25" to 72" long feature a single 1/6 HP motor in a one-piece design, while units 84" to 144" feature a two, 1/6 HP motor design. Each unit offers variable speed control.

The chart below lays out the available lengths for the 208/230V, single phase, unheated electric LPV2 Series of air curtains. The highlighted row is specific to this item. Simply choose your length based on your installation needs. It is recommended that a door switch be used with the air curtain*. Door limit switches automatically activate and de-activate (start and stop) the air curtain when the door(s) open and close. A controller that offers time delayed control reduces the cycling of the air curtain motors in high traffic areas (10+ times/hour). This type of controller will delay the unit from turning off when the door closes. They can usually be set from 6 seconds to up to 20 minutes. Available door switches and controllers for the LPV2, 208/230V unit include:
- Door Limit Switch 99-014 - Combination mechanical switch, 250v, 1HP Max
- Controller J0022 - Commercial low voltage controller, 208 - 277V, 1Ø, adjustable time delay, with commercial plastic surface mounted door limit switch (field installed)
When you add a door switch, your unit will automatically turn on when the door opens and off when it closes. Plus, it will continue running for a configurable period of time.
