The LoPro 2 Low Profile Series of Mars Air Doors offer a variety of lengths in a low profile design. The LoPro 2 has a sleek, modern design in Obsidian Black. The design offers a a non-obstructive, customer facing air curtain, that will look good in many installations. The LoPro 2 unheated air curtains have variable speed control with an adjustable air directional vane offering a 40° sweep from front to back. By simply adding this unheated air curtain, you will create an unseen barrier providing insect protection for an opening of up to 7' high and temperature separation/protection up to 8'. These features result in limited heat loss when the outside door is open and the unit is on.
The low profile design of this unheated, 115 volt, air door is only 8" tall and comes in a variety of lengths from 25" to 144". The LPV248-1UA-OB is a 48" air curtain. It includes a single, 1/6 HP motor. Some sample installation applications include walk-in coolers, pass-through windows, concession stands and many more.
The LPV2 air curtain offers a cost efficient barrier that will blend in to any environment. Its durable light gauge construction is finished in a corrosion resistant obsidian black to meet your design aesthetics. Units 25" to 72" long feature a single 1/6 HP motor in a one-piece design, while units 84" to 144" feature a two, 1/6 HP motor design. Each unit offers variable speed control.

The chart below lays out the available lengths for the 115V, unheated electric LPV2 Series of air curtains. The highlighted row is specific to this item. Simply choose your length based on your installation needs. It is recommended that a door switch be used with the air curtain*. Door limit switches automatically activate and de-activate (start and stop) the air curtain when the door(s) open and close. A controller that offers time delayed control reduces the cycling of the air curtain motors in high traffic areas (10+ times/hour). This type of controller will delay the unit from turning off when the door closes. They can usually be set from 6 seconds to up to 20 minutes. Available door switches and controllers for the LPV2, 115V units include:
- Door Limit Switch 99-014 - Combination mechanical switch, 250v, 1HP Max
- Controller J0021 - Commercial low voltage controller, 115V, 1Ø, adjustable time delay, with commercial plastic surface mounted door limit switch (field installed)
When you add a door switch, your unit will automatically turn on when the door opens and off when it closes. Plus, it will continue running for a configurable period of time.
