The dazzling flames appear to float, at different heights, out of the sparkling bed of black Onyx fireglass. You have the option of using a thermostat, a remote or a combination thermostat and remote. The Lyric Burner DOES NOT require or include a remote or a thermostat. In a vent free installation, the Lyric Burner will provide supplemental heating for about 1850 sq. ft. And because it is a gas appliance, you can have the beauty and the warmth of a Lyric Glass burner even during a power outage!

- Approved for use in any certified vent-free firebox
- May be installed in an existing wood-burning fireplace, with the damper closed, to operate as a vent-free heating system
- Also certified for installation as vented, so long as the installer blocks the fireplace damper partially open. A special flue-damper clamp is included with burner
The 30" Lyric Contemporary Glass Burner comes standard with Onyx fireglass and is available in your choice of Liquid Propane (LYR30PV) or Natural Gas (LYR30NV). Minimum / Maximum BTUs differ slightly for LP (28,000 / 36,000) and NG (25,000 / 37,000). The Lyric 30" burner includes 3 bags of Onyx fireglass media. If you choose to replace the Onyx completely or add additional/mix in other colors of glass to your burner, you will need 3 additional bags (sold separately) of the color(s) you choose.
Minimum firebox requirements for the LYR30 are:
- Front Width 34"
- Rear Width: 24"
- Height: 13"
- Depth: 11"
*In a vented installation, a damper is required and must be purchased separately. In a vented installation, this gas appliance is decorative only.
