A downturn nozzle is designed to direct your airflow in a more vertical flow. Several options are available depending on the angle of the air flow needed for your installation. The Downturn Nozzle 1036266 CD2 offers 25° - 65° variable air deflection range. This kit DOES NOT include a vertical louver frame. It is used with the standard horizontal louvers installed on your UBXC/UDXC 300, 350 or400 unit. The downturn nozzle kit is attached to the units faceplate assembly on the front of the heater. The louvers help to direct the heated air where you need it. Using a kit with vertical louvers (1036290 CD4) offers a wider throw pattern.
