When installing your Reznor heater above 6000 feet (1830 meters), a change in pressure switches is required. The high altitude pressure switch 197030 is used with several Reznor heaters. Pressure switches are specific to Reznor heaters. Its green label indicates the .4"w.c.
The 197030 Pressure Switch is the appropriate kit required for high altitude installation of the following Reznor Heaters:
- UDX75
- UDZ75
- UBX75
- UBZ75
It can also be used as a replacement for altitudes from 0 - 6000 ft. for:
- UBX75, UBX100, UBX125, UBX175
- UBZ100, UBZ150, UBZ175,
- UDX175
- UDZ175
Please note if you are installing your Reznor Heater above 2000 feet (and below 6000 ft.) the input rate must be derated. This is done simply by adjusting the valve outlet (see installation manual). You do not need to install anything further.
The 197030 Pressure Switch can also be used as a replacement pressure limit switch for older UDAP and UDAS models. Its green label indicates the .40"w.c.
