When installing your Reznor heater above 6000 feet (1830 meters), a change in pressure switches is required. The high altitude pressure switch 197031 is used with several Reznor heaters. Pressure switches are specific to Reznor heaters. Its purple label indicates the .35"w.c.
The 197031 Pressure Switch is the appropriate kit required for high altitude installation of the following Reznor Heaters:
- UDX45
- UDX175
- UDZ30
- UDZ45
- UDZ175
- UBX175
- UBZ175
It can also be used as a replacement for altitudes from 0 - 6000 ft. for:
- UBX150
- UBZ45
- UDX60, UDX150
- UDZ60, UDZ150
It can also be used on:
- UDAP30, UDAP45, UDAP125, UDAP150, UDAP175
- UDAS150, UDAS175
- UDBP30, UDBP45, UDBP100, UDBP150, UDBP175
- UDBS30, UDBS100, UDBS150, UDBS175
Please note if you are installing your Reznor Heater above 2000 feet the input rate must be derated. This is done simply by adjusting the valve outlet (see installation manual). You do not need to install anything further.
