Product Overview
The S&P Downblast Belt Drive Centrifugal Roof Exhausters are used to remove relatively clean air from many commercial facilities. Use of a belt drive results in lower sound levels and lower RPMs. So if quiet operation is on your list, the SDB is a good solution. It can be used in ducted or non-ducted applications because of the non-overloading backward inclined wheel and higher static pressure capabilities. It mounts on the roof which allows it to be near the area to be ventilated. With the closer proximity to the ventilating area, shorter duct runs help to create more efficient operation.
The SDB10PH1S features heavy duty construction and is rated for continuous use. The cover is easily removed for convenient access to the single speed open drip-proof motor for maintenance. The housing includes a birdscreen, stainless steel exterior fasteners and a disconnect.
The SDB10PH1S is a size 10 model which means the fan wheel is 10 inches in diameter. This belt drive roof exhauster is a 1464 CFM fan.
An automatic belt tensioner is available. The addition of this helps to eliminate the risk of over-tensioning the drive components. The 100069 Automatic Belt Tensioner must be ordered at the time of your roof exhauster and it is factory-installed. It is for use with SDB sizes 6-10, STXB sizes 8-10. There is an estimated 20 week lead time to add this option.
S&P SDB model Belt Drive Downblast Exhausters can be used to replace Greenheck GB, Loren Cook ACEB, Pennbarry DX, Carnes VEBX, Acme PRN and Fantech 5BDD models.
