Want to turn your dated and unused fireplace into a focal point for your home? The 32" Simplifire Electric Fireplace insert may just be the perfect solution for you! Even if you do not have a fireplace, this insert can be recessed into a wall or installed in a mantel. This 32" electric fireplace insert features a traditional wood-burning design that can bring ambiance and comfort to your home without a major remodel, all seen through the impressive 27-3/8" x 16" viewing area of this insert.
The interior of the insert features a detailed masonry-style design and traditional log set. The fireplace can be used year-round, with or without heat. Its multifunctional remote allows you to control the fireplace from anywhere in the room. Thanks to LED technology, the insert makes your fireplace low maintenance and energy efficient, with its ability to zone-heat your spaces where you need warmth while also cutting your energy bill. This electric fireplace is not intended for use as a primary heat source. The Simplifire Electric Fireplace Insert supplements heat comparable to a freestanding space heater at 1500W. The fireplace features a thermostat-controlled heater, as well as high low control via the remote. Additionally, the flame adjustment on the remote also offers 4 flame effects.
The electric fireplace insert includes a front frame for an appealing, finished look without adding a surround. However, two sizes of optional surrounds are available - a small surround (IS-36-GI32) and a large surround (IS-42-GI32). Each surround can be installed in a 3- or 4-sided configuration. Sitting just behind the frame, the surround fills the gaps between your fireplace and insert for a solid transition.
Minimum dimensions for installing into a pre-existing fireplace are 29-1/8" front width / 24" rear width, 19-3/4" height and 8-3/4" depth. Because this fireplace is zero-clearance, it can be recessed into a wall or installed into a size appropriate mantel.
A 15 AMP, 120 Volt, 60 Hz circuit with a properly grounded outlet is required. The power plug has a 6 foot cord. Be sure to plan your installation accordingly.
