Product Overview
Skytech 5301 is a great option for a thermostatic remote for use with your gas fireplace or other gas heating appliances. The remote system operates on one of 1,048,576 security codes that are programmed into the transmitter at the factory so there should not be any interference with other products. The 5301 can be used with ventless gas logs fireplace systems, vent-free wall heaters, direct vent fireplace systems and other appliances using millivolt gas operating systems. It includes the transmitter, receiver, wall mount and wall plate for the receiver. All hardware, batteries and installation instructions are included as well.
The remote can be operated thermostatically or manually from the transmitter / hand-held remote. The system operates on radio frequencies (RF) within a 20-foot range using non-directional signals. The remote itself is a backlit LCD touch screen. The screen is loaded with information including a clock, room temperature and set point (°F or °C), flame indicator light and a countdown 9-hour timer. There is also a Child Lock Out and a low battery indicator.
