This is a 5/8" brass S.A.E. flare fitting. Each line set requires 2 flare nuts - one for each end. Typically, your unit will have a flare nut attached.
Brass flare nuts can be used across many industries where soldering is not a possibility. They provide a strong connection and are used with liquid and gas distribution passing through piping including line sets used with mini splits and air conditioner units. These flare nuts are constructed of brass for the safe use with natural gas and are assembled with short forged nuts.
This is a single 5/8" flare nuts for use with air conditioner or mini split line sets.
Order your flare nuts accordingly. 5/8" flare nuts are required when using THS58164 line set. A 164 foot line set can use up to 12 flare nuts.
