A White Mountain Hearth Driftwood Burncrete Vented Log Set will beautifully satisfy the need to fill the empty space in your fireplace. With a gas log set you can make your existing fireplace come alive again without the mess and hassle of wood. With a log set and a gas line, a cozy fire can be burning in no time. Vented burners are certified for use in existing fireplaces and need to be vented through an open chimney or flue. Vented burners feature a higher BTU input, creating taller flames but are not for use as a heat source. When gas logs are used in a vented installation, they are certified for decorative use only and cannot be used with a thermostat. Vented burners are not convertible for use in a vent-free installation.
The Burncrete Driftwood log set is carefully hand painted, illustrating the uniqueness of driftwood you find while walking waterside. The hand crafting and painting provides you with the most realistic looking logs. The Driftwood log set offers an impressive look for just about any gas-equipped fireplace. The log set features logs mostly free of bark, showcasing the weathered look of being tossed and turned in the water. This beautiful log set sits nicely on an Empire Slope Glaze burner. The 18" set will look great in a 32 inch fireplace.
This Driftwood Log Set is available in 18" (LS18-CD), 24" (LS24-CD) and 30" (LS30-CD). Vented burners are available in corresponding sizes. Vented burners are ideal for installation in an existing fireplace fitted with a gas line.
White Mountain Slope Glaze Vented burners feature internal ceramic beads forcing the gas to tumble around, offering realistic flames and flickers between the logs for a beautiful fire. The Slope Glaze Burner sits lower in the front and a bit higher in the back, helping to showcase your log set. The VSR burner includes a millivolt valve with an On/Off Switch. The VSR burner can be operated with a remote control or wall switch (sold separately - see Accessories below).
Your complete Vented Log Set will include the 8-piece 18" and 10-piece 24" and 30" Burncrete Driftwood Log Sets (your choice of size), VSR Slope Glaze Vented Burner Pan Assembly (choice of size and fuel type), Glowing Embers, Damper Clamp, and Decorative Rock. The damper clamp is included to keep the damper from accidentally closing during use. Burners are not field convertible for use with any other fuel type and cannot be used in a vent-free installation.
A licensed gas technician is required for installation of this product. This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket permanently located, manufactured (mobile) home, where not prohibited by local codes.Please check your local regulations as some areas may require inspection after installation of gas products. It is highly recommended that you use your own gas technician or gas provider for any repairs.
