A vent-free firebox can be installed into a pre-existing masonry fireplace or, because no venting is required, you can add a mantel cabinet (sold separately) almost anywhere. It does not need to be installed on an exterior wall. As long as there is a gas line, this firebox can ease your back while helping to create a relaxed atmosphere! No more wood to lug and no more ash to clean up - just clean, warm air.
The Breckenridge Select 42 offers a tall, deep space to best display your log set. It features compact outer dimensions giving you more display space without excess firebox! The VFS42 is only available with a flush face and louvers cannot be installed on this unit. It can be installed at floor level while still allowing for an optional blower to be installed. Additionally, it can be installed in a standard or corner mantel as well as a pre-existing, properly equipped fireplace. It is 23-3/16" deep and requires 23-3/8" framing depth. This firebox is only offered in with flush face. A logset and burner system (sold separately) is required. Total Home Supply has a full array of options and accessories for the Breckenridge Select 42 Firebox including a choice of mantel cabinets in different patterns and finishes, as well as doors, trims and frames in matching designs and finishes. The firebox shown in the photos include a Breckenridge Select Flush Face Firebox with a banded brick liner (with Sassafras Logs, Black Frame and Lighting Kit) and with a herringbone liner (not installed). The liner, log set nor the burner shown in the firebox are included but can be purchased separately. This item is the firebox ONLY. A Liner, Log Set and Burner are Required for this firebox (sold separately). The VFS42 can take just about any size - 18" 24" or 30" - burner and corresponding log set. Be sure to confirm you burner/log set choice will fit within the VFS42 dimensions. The VFS42 is 38-1/16"h x 23-3/16"d with a 43-1/4" front width and a 34-1/16" rear width. White Mountain Hearth offers several valves with their Slope Glaze Burners.

The VFSV (Variable) model is certified for installation in a vented fireplace. When installed in a vented application, it can only be used as a decorative gas appliance and cannot be operated with a remote. Your installer must block the fireplace damper partially open. A Damper Clamp is included for this purpose.
All other accessories such as a blower, doors and frames or mantel are optional and also sold separately.
